CONVEYANCING SOLICITOR / LEGAL EXECUTIVE / LICENSED CONVEYANCER

Rees Page are looking to recruit a further experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer. The role will be a full time employed position based in our Wolverhampton office with the potential for flexible working where client needs allow.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing an existing caseload of residential property matters from inception through to conclusion including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership transactions and lease extensions

You will be expected to:

  • process matters in a timely and cost effective manner;
  • liaise directly with clients, estate agents and lenders;
  • develop professional relationships, both with clients and with other potential sources of work;
  • generate fee income in line with agreed targets;
  • manage your own caseload, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision; and
  • help to develop systems and procedures within the conveyancing department, including the use of technology.

About You

As the successful candidate you will:

  • hold a relevant qualification and have a good working knowledge of residential conveyancing practice and procedure;
  • have experience of managing your own caseload;
  • be organised and process driven;
  • be commercially astute and understand the importance of targets and their impact to the Firm;
  • have a friendly client manner and be committed to providing an excellent standard of client care;
  • be able to work to deadlines, prioritise your own workload effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities; and
  • be able to demonstrate clear communication skills both face to face and on the telephone.

You will have the help of a dedicated assistant and be supported by experienced conveyancing partners within the Firm
